I just wanted to tell, how i actually solved this. What I was doing earlier is -- if a valid keystroke was found, it was added to the current sequence and then the key was disposed, so the letter does not appear at the cursor. What I changed it to -- I decreased the time out from 1.5 sec to 1 sec. And I removed the disposal of the key after adding it to the sequence. So now, you can continue typing, without being bothered if a combo was triggered. The only problem now is, if you type (for example) "SUPPOSE", you can obviously do that within 1 sec, and then the toolbar will recognize the combo SUP which will immediately search G4EF for today's posts and will display it on your current tab. I hope I can solve that too.
OK Done : (1) Added beep. (2) Improved textbox recognition -- still requires a bit of improvement. To-Do : (1) Create Options section. (2) Implement persistence of settings. (3) More accurate textbox recognition.
Finally ... the wait is over ..... G4EF Toolbar Ver.2.1 released here : http://www.go4expert.com/showpost.php?p=54072&postcount=8. But, who was waiting for it btw ? Nobody seems to use it.
Wow ! So, you are using it !!    Yipeee ! The admin himself is using my toolbar !! But I thought that you are not using it, because the view count of the attached ZIPs were very low. So, is there something like, when you download a file, the view count is not increased ?? Thanx Those words will seriously decrease the time I would require to make the next version :p Even I am waiting for the next version to see the new things in action .... and if I'll b successful, the toolbar is truly gonna ROCK !!
No the view count does not change if I use the backend to get it but if I use here it works as normal
I have one more suggestion and I would be more than happy to help in this. It should auto upgrade and I would not mind sharing a sub-domain for it as well.
that would be really nice ... i think you can add a direct link to the homepage too if you don't mind...
stumbleupon toolbar has a keyboard shortcut to hide/view toolbar ctrl+F11....add something for the 360 !! sometimes we want to have more space for view... add google search (general), yahoo search, wolframalpha, bing etc as an option for the search box. If possible, add google toolbars options to be added if required like pagerank, bookmarks (very imp) and if there is something others use... that way we can keep one toolbar then two...and save more space..
