To achieve top position in Google you have to be properly optimizing your site in specific keywords. Another valuable point to achieve top rank is link popularity. To get positive response from your link exchange partner you have to design a section for partners link placement and that section PR must have to be at least PR2. Few suggestion do's: 1. Design partner link section 2. Try to place link pages in top section of web server. Like: http://www.go4expert.com/sitemap.html not http://www.go4expert.com/sitemap/sitemap.html and link site map with your home page OR index page. 3. Always create a site map page for easy search engine feed. 4. Site navigation must have to be in text link. 5. Try site width link exchange and reciprocal link exchange. 6. Always prefer one way link exchange. 7. Always try to exchange link with same category sites. 8. Always try to exchange links with high PR sites at least PR5/6. Three one way links from PR5/6/7 sites will boost your overall search ranking. Few suggestion Don't: 1. Do not exchange link with non-related site. 2. Do not exchange link that have PR0 OR PR1 OR banned site. 3. Do not exchange link with adult site, SEX OR hacking related sites. 4. Do not put more then 30 links in a reciprocal link exchange page, If Google found more then 30 outgoing links, Google will treat you as spammer OR link firm. 5. do not create frame page sites.
Why do you do the link exchange. Its not necessary. Just build the content and links will come automatically. Secondly as suggested never do link exchange with SEX, adult sites and only reason I see behind avoiding such links is that they are not targeted. If your site is also in the same line or else its just waste of time according to me.
Far as targeting, I agree: Trade links with sites similar to yours. Which is all dandy if your site is about a specific subject but there are a lot of general, miscellaneous sites out there contain or cover more than one subject. My site is a general site and contains porn. No, it isn't what the site is about as 90% of the content is not porn at ALL, but trading with other porn or generally some porn sites is definitely beneficial for me and my site. Targeting? Well undoubtedly if I trade links with a porn site, ALL their traffic heads straight to the section of my site which contains the porn. Same thing goes when I trade links with a car site - The traffic heads straight for the section which contains car-related content. Now the ONLY problems with sex sites are: 1) There are junk sex sites where if you trade links, you'll get the short end of the stick. However, this is the case with any type / category of site, you still have to review them, just because they're xxx doesn't mean they get a TON of traffic. Also you can trade with a spammer and this is VERY common with some porn sites and then you will lose ranking. 2) It will double your traffic and it comes in short, strong bursts. Also the traffic has a wicked feel to it. You will likely question yourself whether this is really what you wanted on your site. I got a hint: Don't trade with child pornographers or you'll really get the wrong traffic on your site. Far as regular porn, most (all) men masturbate, what else is new? 3) It comes and goes fast, very short time spent on your site. 4) Likely, it is veteran traffic and in addition to the wickedness you can feel the salt as most these people have been ripped off before and don't fall for no stupid tricks. In some ways it's also the best traffic in the world because if you can SELL something to veteran porn surfers, then you can sell your stuff to anyone.
It has to be otherwise the internet will become too perfect for Giants like Google to have any operational If they are xxx then the competition is more and so its hard to get better traffic and everyday porn sites are just emeging like anything
Nice article, Link building is the updated media to get the traffic towards one’s website. Though it’s a time consuming & tough process after a period of time it renders best quality business to the site.The killer original content can provide wings to your traffic.
I totally agree with you.. What is necessary is high quality content... Unless you get dat, you wont get traffic.... Yes, but your articles need some kind of marketing to attract visitors and make them know your "good" site. This can be achieved by submitting articles to forums and directories.
Submitting to directories is good option but not to all but some may be 20 odd. Forum submission is not what we like but having link in signature definitely helps
The most important thing in doing link exchange is to submit your URL with the same niche together with higher PR value.. If you don't want your site to get into trouble, then do not link with XXX sites..
I prefer doing some Google search for sites with whom I am going to do Link exchange. I research on the stats of the site and only then make the decisions
As per my experience goes I don't think that two way link exchange is of any help because Google, Yahoo. MSN easily find those links and give no importance to them. And those links remain as useless. Rather one way link exchange is better. That gave rise to 3 way link exchange. That too if found given no importance. I want to know one thing in how many article directories I can submit one article? Can I put the same article in Forums and blog. Will it be of any help? Or one particular article for particular is good?
